The Polish Lowland Sheepdog, or PON, is a medium-sized herding dog with a thick, shaggy coat that covers their eyes. Intelligent, confident, and independent, they're devoted family companions who retain strong working instincts. They're naturally protective without being aggressive.
Daily exercise and mental challenges keep them thriving—herding games, long walks, and training suit them well. Their profuse coat requires regular grooming. Training should be consistent and respectful of their independence. For families seeking a unique, capable herding breed, the PON is exceptional.
