The Spinone Italiano is an ancient Italian pointing breed with a rough coat and gentle demeanor. Calm, patient, and devoted, they're versatile hunters who transition beautifully to family life. They're affectionate and excellent with children.
Daily exercise through walks, swimming, or field work keeps them content. Their rough coat requires regular brushing. Spinones are easygoing and trainable. For families seeking a calm, versatile sporting dog with Italian heritage, the Spinone is wonderful.
