Maison Roux Frenchies

Our philosophy

French bulldogs are a breed where shortcuts cost the dog its ability to breathe. We do not take them. Every pair is airway and spine screened, and we will happily turn away a buyer rather than place a puppy in a home that wants a handbag. Our litters are raised in the front room of a 1940s bungalow in East Austin. They meet the postman, the neighbourhood children and our two very patient older dogs before they are eight weeks old. If you are starting out as a breeder, ask us questions. We would rather share what we have learned than watch someone repeat our mistakes.
