The Portuguese Podengo Pequeno is the smallest variety of Portuguese Podengo, but they're fearless hunters despite their size. Lively, alert, and independent, they're cheerful companions who retain strong prey drive. They're affectionate with family and adapt well to various homes.
Daily exercise and mental stimulation keep them content. Their smooth or wiry coat requires minimal grooming. Training should be positive and consistent. For those seeking a small, lively hunting companion with ancient heritage, the Portuguese Podengo Pequeno is charming.
